INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts have retained one of their own.
Ashton Dulin, a core special teams player and backup wide receiver, has agreed to a two-year contract worth a maximum of $8.5 million, according to NFL Network.
The Colts initially signed Dulin as an undrafted rookie in 2019, and he’s appeared in 70 games with five starts in five seasons. He missed the 2023 season with a knee injury.
Dulin has 35 receptions for 517 yards and four touchdowns and rushed 12 times for 96 yards, but his real impact has been on special teams. He was selected second-team All-Pro in 2021.
He has been on the field for 941 total snaps on offense, and 1,158 on special teams.
Dulin is the first of the Colts’ pending free agents to be re-signed.
Center Ryan Kelly has agreed to a two-year, $18 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings while defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo agreed to a three-year, $48 million deal with the Chicago Bears.
