It seems as though former Colts defensive coordinator Gus Bradley has had a rather soft landing, after being relieved of duties in Indianapolis after the season.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, former Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Gus Bradley will be joining re-hired San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh’s defensive coaching staff in the Bay area:

The 46-year-old Saleh previously served as a defensive quality control coach with the Seattle Seahawks and a linebackers coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars under Bradley.
Bradley, who’s known most for being the defensive coordinator for the infamous ‘Legion of Boom’ while with the Seattle Seahawks and the ex-head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, was not retained this offseason after three seasons as the Colts defensive coordinator.
During his Indianapolis tenure, the Colts defenses fared 24th (2024), 28th (2023), and 28th (2022).
With those recent underwhelming defensive results, the 58-year-old was likely going to have a tough time finding an NFL defensive coordinator job outright, but this provides him the opportunity to boost his coaching stock and resume with what could be a very talented 49ers defense in 2025—with Saleh being brought back to San Francisco.
