Grigson was the general manager of the Colts from 2012-2016.
During that five-season span at the helm, Grigson’s Colts had a record of 49-31, which included three straight 11-win seasons from 2012-2014.
This run also included three playoff appearances, three playoff wins, including a trip to the AFC Championship in 2014, and two division titles.
Grigson’s first selection as general manger in the NFL draft was quarterback Andrew Luck. Other notable picks during his tenure include TY Hilton and Ryan Kelly.
After a pair of 8-8 seasons in 2015 and 2016 that didn’t come with any playoff appearances, the team would move on from Grigson.
Most recently, Grigson has been working in the Minnesota Vikings’ front office since 2022. He has also had stops in Seattle and Cleveland since leaving the Colts.
The Jets have casted a wide net for their general manager role, with Grigson one of 11 interviewees so far.
