The Colts 2nd-year cornerback will remain on the team’s injured reserve for at least one more week.
In addition to starting quarterback Anthony Richardson, former Indianapolis Colts starting cornerback JuJu Brents (knee) has also been downgraded to out and will remain on the team’s injured reserve list on the road against the New York Giants this weekend:

The 2nd-year cornerback was a full participant in practice all week, but perhaps because of conditioning concerns and as a medical precaution, the Colts will hold him back for at least one more week—and really with just one game left after New York, it’s then now or never.
The 2023 2nd round pick of the Colts has appeared in just one game so far in 2024, recording 7 tackles (3 solo) before being placed on injured reserve with a significant knee injury. He was designated to return to practice on December 18th, but now has one week to return to game day or Indianapolis’s season will likely be over regardless.
An opening game starter for the Colts at outside cornerback, Brents has been limited to just 10 career games through his first two seasons, so his durability and availability is certainly in question going forward for the Indianapolis secondary.
