INDIANAPOLIS – Two Indianapolis Colts players are among the NFL’s best.
The Associated Press named linebacker Zaire Franklin and guard Quenton Nelson as Second Team All-Pros.
Franklin led the league in tackles, finishing with 173 (93 solo) in 17 starts. He added 3.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 6 passes defensed, 2 interceptions and 5 forced fumbles. It marks his first All-Pro selection and comes on the heels of his first career Pro Bowl season.
Nelson also started all 17 games this season. He’s an All-Pro for the fifth time in his career, giving him the most All-Pro selections by a guard in franchise history.
Nelson made the Pro Bowl for the seventh time in his career and has been named to the Pro Bowl squad in each of his seven NFL seasons. He’s the first Colts player to make seven straight Pro Bowls since Peyton Manning accomplished the feat.
