With some help from the Cincinnati Bengals who were able to defeat the Denver Broncos in overtime on Saturday, the Indianapolis Colts will go into their Week 17 matchup against the Giants with their playoff hopes still alive.
The Giants have only two wins this season and have lost 10 in a row. As Dan Benton, the managing editor of Giants Wire, laid out and as I’m sure you can guess with New York only having two wins, not a lot has gone right for this team on either side of the ball.
However, if the Colts are going to win, they’ll have to do so without quarterback Anthony Richardson who was downgraded to out on Saturday. That means Joe Flacco will get the start, and we should see a run-centric gameplan from the Colts against a defense who has struggled to stop opposing backs.

Colts vs Giants predictions, picks, odds
Colts 24, Giants 17: I’ll pick the Colts to win this game. Indianapolis is far from a perfect team and has their own issues, but they can hang their hat on Jonathan Taylor and the run while the defense has done a very good job this season at generating takeaways. I believe those elements will be too much for the Giants to overcome.
ODDS: Colts -7.5 points
