After a loss on Sunday to the Lions, the Indianapolis Colts now sit at 5-7 on the season. Up next in Week 13 is a road matchup with the 3-9 New England Patriots.
Kickoff on Sunday will be at 1:00 PM ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Coming out the gates here, the Colts are the early favorites heading into this game. As of Tuesday, BetMGM has the Indianapolis is favored by 2.5 points in the matchup.
The over/under is set at 42.5 points total, while the Colts’ money line sits at -150, and the Patriots’ money line is at +125.
Against the spread this season, the Colts are 8-4, which is the fourth-best mark in football. The Patriots, meanwhile, are 4-7-1.
Colts’ quarterback Anthony Richardson will look to continue building off of what have been two strong performances since being reinstated as the starter. However, more help around him will be a must after a mistake-filled afternoon this past Sunday versus Detroit.
This game for Indianapolis falls into the ‘must win’ category if they hope to remain in the AFC playoff mix. At 5-7, they are currently two games behind the seventh seed Denver Broncos who are 7-5.
A remaining schedule that includes four games against teams with three or fewer wins is helping to keep the Colts’ playoff hopes alive, but the margin for error is razor thin. Wins a necessity.
