Quarterback Anthony Richardson missed practice again today with a back injury. Richardson missing back to back practices massively throws his availability for Sunday into doubt. Richardson spoke to the media this week and said it was a chronic bs k issue he had been dealing with since he was young that had flared up over the past two weeks. Richardson’s showing in Friday’s practice will be critical in determining his availability for Sunday but it is looking like he could be set to miss another game through injury. If Richardson is unable to play Sunday expect Joe Flacco to start again in his place in the starting line up.
Cornerback Juju Brents was a full participant at practice again today. Brents is working his way back from a knee injury which landed him in injured reserve. Brents is still yet to be activated from injured reserve even though but it is looking like this may be the week he is activated. Brents could do with playing this week and it would be good for the team to see him play before evaluating the team during the offseason.
Wide receiver Josh Downs (ankle), guard Quenton Nelson (ankle) and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr (back) were all full participants at practice again today. Good news as all three have been struggling with injuries lately and bodes well for their availability for Sundays game.
