Defensive end Kwity Paye was limited at practice today with a hamstring injury. Paye was not in the injury list yesterday but was added today after injuring his hamstring at practice today. This throws his availability for Sunday’s game against the Vikings massively into the air.
Left tackle Bernhard Raimann continued to miss practice today due to a concussion. Raimann looks set to miss this week’s game on Sunday due to the concussion. With Raimann likely out this week the Colts have a slight conundrum in who they start in his place. Blake Freeland is listed as the back up left tackle but was massively out his depth when he started last year in Raimann’s absence. The other option is rookie Matt Goncalves who played left tackle in college for Pittsburgh, but hasn’t played left tackle in the league as he lined up at right tackle in pre-season. Who ever they choose will have their hands full against the Viking’s edge defenders.
Wide receiver’s Josh Downs (toe) and Michael Pittman (back) were both full participants at practice today after missing yesterday’s practice through injury. Both Downs and Pittman will likely be rested at tomorrow’s practice too due to injury management. Both should be without an injury designation for Sunday.
Center Ryan Kelly (calf) and Right tackle Braden Smith (knee) were both full participants at practice today after missing yesterday’s practice through injury. Both Kelly and Smith will likely be rested at tomorrow’s practice too due to injury management. Both should be without an injury designation for Sunday.
