The Indianapolis Colts snapped their three-game skid this past Sunday, securing a win over the New York Jets to improve to 5-6 on the season.
However, now awaiting the Colts are the red-hot 9-1 Detroit Lions, who aren’t only winning games, but they have been dominant in many of them.
This game will be played in Indianapolis on this coming Sunday with kickoff at 1:00 PM ET.
The Colts are going to enter this game as heavy underdogs. As of Monday this week, BetMGM has the Lions as eight-point favorites over the Colts–a hefty amount in the NFL game.
The over/under is set at 50.5 total points with the Colts’ money line at +290 and the Lions’ money line at -375.
For what it’s worth, the Lions will enter this game at 8-2 against the spread, and the Colts are 8-3.
Basically, pick a category on either side of the ball, and there’s a good chance that this Lions team ranks near the top of the NFL. In the points per game categories, the Lions lead the NFL in scoring on offense at 33.6 and are fifth defensively at 17.7 points per contest.
The return and impressive play of quarterback Anthony Richardson has provided the Colts with a spark, but this game will provide them with their biggest test of the season, both offensively and defensively.
