Despite losing three straight games, now at 4-6 on the season, the Indianapolis Colts are still in the AFC playoff mix. However, remaining there requires a Week 11 win over the Jets.
Back under center this week for the Colts will be quarterback Anthony Richardson, who will remain the team’s starter for the rest of the season. The team wanted Richardson to take a step back and refocus on the day-to-day details that come with being a starting NFL quarterback–an area he’s made strides in, which is why he will be back under center.
The hope is that Richardson’s return can provide a spark to an offense that greatly needs it. While consistency eluded Richardson during the first half of the year, he should provide the downfield passing game and the run game with a big boost.
Awaiting the Colts this week are the 3-7 Jets–a team with a ton of talent, but it has not translated into wins. For a closer look at where this Jets team stacks up statistically with the Colts, click here.
Although the Colts and Jets are in the same conference, New York is a relatively uncommon opponent. The last time these two teams met was back in 2021.
