Who did the Indianapolis Colts select in a recent three-round 2025 NFL mock draft from NFL.com?
Following Super Bowl 59, Chad Reuter put together a three-round mock draft. At this stage of the offseason, it’s not often that we get a mock that goes beyond the first round.
So when we do, we of course, have to break down and react to the Colts’ selections.
Pick 14: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Cornerback is obviously a big need for the Colts. As GM Chris Ballard said after the season about the secondary play, “We’ve got to get better.”
Barron is an experienced player with over 2,600 snaps during three seasons at Texas. The majority of his snaps came from the nickel in 2022 and 2023, but Barron was primarily a boundary cornerback in 2024–which is where he would have to play with the Colts with Kenny Moore in the slot.
In coverage, Barron surrendered a completion rate of just 54% last season at 7.8 yards per catch. He also recorded five interceptions and nine pass breakups.
“Barron’s versatility, toughness and football IQ should land him in the middle-third of the first round,” wrote Reuter. “The Colts extended Kenny Moore last offseason, but injuries this past fall exposed the team’s lack of depth in the secondary.”
Pick 46: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami
Arroyo’s draft stock is on the rise following his performance at the Senior Bowl. Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently noted that Arroyo’s size, speed, and polish as a route runner was all on display that week.
The 2024 season was a breakout year for Arroyo, who was a reliable target, catching 75% of his passes for 590 yards. He averaged a whopping 16.9 yards per catch, ranking second among all tight ends in that category and he was first in average YAC as well, per PFF.
Arroyo would provide the Colts with that needed pass-catching presence at the tight end position.
Pick 80: Wyatt Milum, G, West Virginia
The need to which the Colts have to address the interior offensive line is dependent upon whether Will Fries returns in free agency. While this team needs an infusion of new players at a variety of positions, re-signing Fries should be a top priority.
However, even if he is back, the offensive line depth does have to be addressed with Ryan Kelly, Mark Glowinski, and Danny Pinter all set to be free agents as well.
Wyatt played almost 3,000 snaps over four seasons. He was dominant in 2024, allowing just six pressures and no sacks over 356 pass-blocking snaps and was one of PFF’s highest-graded run-blockers as well.
