NFC East matchup of two playoff hopeful teams
Hell of a game to kick off Week 11 of this NFL season, as the Philadelphia Eagles (- 210) host the Commanders (+ 176). Both teams are in the hunt for their division, so this is a matchup with much more at stake than the divisional rivalry. The Eagles are currently favored by 3.5-points, with the OU for the game at 48.5.
The Eagles trounced the Prescott-less Dallas Cowboys last week away from home, led by four total touchdowns by quarterback Jalen Hurts and an impressive performance by the defense. With their receiver group now healthy once again, this offense is almost impossible to stop because of the amount of weapons they have, and with the defense starting to gel they could emerge as contenders for the NFC conference.
The Commanders are led by rookie sensation Jayden Daniels, and they lost a tough, one-point game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. A win there would have put them at 8-2 and firmly in the lead for the division, but instead the fate of the NFC East will most likely be decided by the outcome tonight.
Overall, playing at home and with a more experienced quarterback, I think the Eagles take the win tonight, but this Washington team is really hard to beat and could make things really complicated for Philly. Anyways, it is definitely a game worth tuning in for.
