AFC matchup with two playoff teams facing off
And we close off Week 12 of NFL football with an AFC conference matchup featuring two teams looking to make a deep playoff run in the conference, as the Los Angeles Chargers (+ 124) host the Ravens (- 146) in SoFi Stadium. Baltimore opens up as 2.5-point favourites, with the OU for the game at a big 50.5 points.
The Ravens lost a tough one against the Steelers last week, on a game they lost despite not allowing a single touchdown, after failing the two-point conversion that would have tied the game late in the 4th. Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson were kept in check by the Steelers defense, and the Ravens need to win at least four of their remaining six games if they hope to catch Pittsburgh for the lead in the AFC North.
The Chargers beat the Bengals on one of the most entertaining games of the week, staving off a close 27-6 comeback thanks to some missed kicks by Evan McPherson, and a game-winning touchdown by running back J.K. Dobbins with less than twenty seconds left on the clock.
Overall, this will surely be a close one, and it is hard to pick a side. I struggle picturing the Ravens’ running game sputtering two games in a row, and the Chargers are worse than their record indicates in my opinion. This one is worth tuning in to.
