NFC matchup as the Eagles look to keep the good times rolling
We close off this week of another NFL Sunday with the Philadelphia Eagles (- 146) travelling to LA to face the Rams (+ 124). The home team is trying to sneak into the playoffs after a shaky start and a rumoured fire sale earlier this season, while the Eagles are once again contending for the NFC crown. The Eagles are currently favoured by 2.5-points, with the OU for the game at 48.5.
The Eagles beat the Commanders last Thursday night on what was a key divisional game for them. Running back Saquon Barkley exploded in the fourth quarter for two long touchdowns in the span of 20 seconds, effectively ending the game, while the defense kept rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels in check.
The Rams staved off a late comeback attempt by the Patriots last week, and climbed back to 5-5. Matt Stafford threw four touchdowns, while the defense forced two turnovers, on what was an all-around effort. They are in a position where they cannot afford to lose many more games, considering how competitive the NFC is currently.
Overall I think this figures to be a close one, and when a team has much more to lose like the Rams here it gives them an edge. This is definitely a close one that should be worth tuning in to.
