The Indianapolis Colts announced on Wednesday that they will be hosting a home game during the upcoming 2025 season in Berlin, Germany–the first of its kind.
So with the Colts heading abroad, what is their record and history when playing in these International games?
This will be the third time that the Colts will travel overseas and it will be the first time that they are the home team after being the visitor in their first two trips across the pond.
The Colts’ first international meeting came against the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016 in London, England.
In that game, the Colts entered the fourth quarter trailing 23-6. Indianapolis’ Andrew Luck-led offense would score 21 points in that final quarter, but their comeback came up just short, losing 30-27.
Their most recent game overseas was just two seasons ago in 2023 against the New England Patriots at Frankfurt Stadium in Germany.
In a low-scoring game, the Colts defense would hold the Patriots to just six points, while the offense did just enough to put 10 points on the board and leave with the win.
We don’t know when or who the Colts will be playing in Berlin in 2025, but with Indianapolis as the designated home team, we know it will be against one of these teams below as they look to improve to 2-1 in International games.
Houston Texans
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans
Atlanta Falcons
